Chris & Bertha Rickertsen 4-H Scholarship Application Due

The Chris and Bertha Rickertsen 4-H Scholarship will be given to a 2010 graduating senior for the 25th time this year. The $500.00 Rickertsen Scholarship is offered to encourage Dawson County 4-H members active in the 4-H program to continue their education.
The scholarship may be used at any institute of higher education in Nebraska.
The Chris & Bertha Rickertsen 4-H Scholarship is provided by their children, Linda, Bryan, Bruce and Carma as an honor to their parents, according to Andrea Nisley, UNL Extension Educator in Dawson County.
The eligibility requirements of the scholarship are a 5-year Dawson County 4-H member and currently enrolled in the Dawson County 4-H program, must be a senior in high school and plan to attend college this fall.
For additional information and applications, contact the Dawson County Extension Office. Applications are due in the Extension Office by March 1, 2010.
